Fair Refund Policies
We believe in fair policies. One-time purchases are handled by their respective app stores. Lifetime plan purchases for ShipLocal are generally non-refundable, with exceptions for billing errors.
1 Introduction
This Refund Policy explains the refund terms for products and services offered by Flowstate Industries LLC ("we", "our", or "us"). Different products have different refund policies based on their purchase model.
By purchasing our products, you agree to the refund terms outlined in this policy. We encourage you to read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
2 One-Time Purchases
Our one-time purchase products, such as Worldly, are sold through the Apple App Store.
App Store Purchases
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled directly by Apple. We do not have the ability to process refunds for these purchases.
Request a refund from AppleNote: Apple's refund policy typically allows refunds within a reasonable time after purchase. Approval is at Apple's discretion.
3 Lifetime Plan Purchases
ShipLocal uses a lifetime plan system with app slots. Plans are purchased through Polar (our merchant of record) and provide app slots for localizing your apps.
Lifetime Purchases Are Final
All lifetime plan purchases are non-refundable. Lifetime access never expires, giving you flexibility to use your app slots when you need them.
Why This Policy?
Lifetime Access Never Expires
Your plan and app slots remain valid indefinitely. There's no rush to use them—they'll be there when you need them.
Free Trial to Evaluate
New accounts receive 3 free localizations to try the service before making any purchase. You can fully evaluate ShipLocal at no cost.
Exceptions
We may issue refunds in limited circumstances:
To report a billing error: Contact us at support@flowstateindustries.com within 7 days. Include your account email and transaction details. You must respond to any follow-up inquiries within 48 hours.
Payment Processor Discretion
Polar is our merchant of record and may issue refunds at their discretion according to their own terms of service. Any refund decisions made by Polar are final.
If a Refund Is Issued
If a refund is approved and issued, the corresponding access will be removed from your account. If you have already used some or all of the refunded app slots, we reserve the right to deduct those app slots from future purchases or deny the refund.
4 Account Deletion
You can delete your ShipLocal account at any time from your account settings.
Data Removal
When you delete your account, all your data (apps, translations, credentials) is permanently removed from our systems.
App Slots Are Forfeited
Unused app slots are forfeited upon account deletion and cannot be recovered or refunded. Make sure to use your app slots before deleting your account.
No Refunds for Unused App Slots
We do not provide refunds for unused app slots when you choose to delete your account.
5 Disputes
Please contact us first: We encourage customers to reach out to us before initiating a dispute with their bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.
Chargebacks
Filing a chargeback without first contacting us will result in immediate account suspension. If you have a legitimate billing concern, please contact us first—we will work with you to resolve it.
- We reserve the right to deny refunds in cases of abuse or fraud
- Edge cases are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
- Our goal is to find a fair resolution for all parties
