Even splits, manual splits, and receipts

Real trips are not evenly split. Ledgr handles equal divides, exact per-person amounts, and receipt photos - logged as the trip happens.

"Just split it evenly" works until it does not. One person skipped the expensive dinner, two shared the cab, someone covered the whole hotel. Real trips need more than a divide-by-four button.

Even or exact

In Ledgr, each expense records who paid and who was in on it, then splits evenly across participants or takes exact per-person amounts, with tax and tip entered separately. Manual splits stay locked until the per-person numbers add up to the subtotal, so a typo cannot quietly corrupt the books.

Log it in the moment

Capture a title, amount, payer, and participants in one quick form as the expense happens, and on Pro attach a receipt photo from your library that you can open full-screen later. No end-of-day reconstruction from a pile of crumpled receipts.

Across trips, everyone sees the running totals: what you have spent, how many trips, how many expenses, how many travelers. Pro breaks that down into spending by trip, top payers, averages, and your biggest bills.

Receipt images and everything else are stored on-device; your actual expense data never leaves your phone.
