PostHog analytics on your phone

I built HogWatch because I kept wanting to glance at my PostHog numbers from my phone, and the web dashboard was never quick or comfortable on a small screen. It connects directly to PostHog with your own personal API key, so there is no HogWatch account to make and no server of mine sitting in the middle. You pick a project and a dashboard, and you get a clean home screen with your key metrics, top events, and trends, plus an Explore section for people, feature flags, error tracking, and a HogQL console. It is read-only and quiet by design: a fast way to keep an eye on what you ship.

HogWatch talks directly to PostHog's public API using a key you provide. There is no HogWatch server, no proxy, and no account to create. Your API key lives in the iOS Keychain and everything you look at is processed on the device.

Yes. HogWatch is a client for PostHog data you already have, so you connect it with your own personal API key. There is no separate HogWatch account, and HogWatch is not an analytics product of its own.

Between your phone and PostHog, and nowhere else. HogWatch calls the PostHog API directly with no server of mine in the middle. Your API key is stored in the iOS Keychain and never leaves the device except to authenticate against your own PostHog instance.

Not today. Setup offers PostHog US Cloud and EU Cloud only.

No. It is strictly read-only. It views events, insights, people, flags, and issues, and never writes back.

Pro features lock again at the end of the paid period: you drop back to one project, one dashboard, three metric cards, the 5-minute refresh interval, and no feature flags or SQL console. Nothing is deleted. Your connected account, saved layouts, and dashboard choice all stay exactly as they were, and resubscribing or tapping Restore Purchases unlocks everything again with no setup.

Not yet. HogWatch needs a connection to load live data and shows a clear error when you are offline, though numbers you already loaded stay on screen. Cached offline viewing is on the roadmap.
