Clocked

Know what your shifts really pay

Most hourly workers can tell you their wage, and almost none of them can tell you what next Friday's check will be - because the wage isn't the number that lands in the bank. Clocked starts with what you can actually observe, the hours you worked, and turns them into a projected gross and a projected take-home. Then you log the real paycheck, and Clocked allocates that money back across the shifts it paid for, freezes them to the actual amounts, and quietly learns your true take-home rate so the next projection is closer. It handles the parts that trip up a spreadsheet: unpaid breaks, cross-midnight shifts, daily and weekly overtime, and several jobs at once. There's no account, no server, and no analytics SDK - everything runs on your phone.

Features · 006

Everything it does, nothing it doesn't.

Small on purpose. Each feature earned its place by solving something real.

01

Log worked and scheduled shifts

Record actual clock-in and clock-out for shifts you've worked, and project the ones still ahead. Unpaid breaks, cross-midnight shifts, and daily plus weekly overtime are all handled.

02

Overtime that matches your job

Set daily and weekly thresholds with your own multiplier, per position. Clocked allocates overtime shift by shift and takes the greater of daily and weekly, so nothing is counted twice.

03

Reconcile against paychecks

Log a real paycheck and Clocked allocates the net across the shifts it covers, finalizes them to actual amounts, and learns your true take-home rate.

04

Estimated taxes everywhere

Wherever Clocked shows take-home it also shows the gap - on the shift form, on the paycheck receipt, and in Analytics. Once a paycheck is logged, that figure stops being an estimate and becomes the real withholding.

05

Templates, custom fields, and wage snapshots

Save a week per position and drop it onto any week in a tap. Add your own fields for bonuses, deductions, or premium holiday pay. Every shift freezes the wage it was logged under, so a raise never quietly rewrites last month.

06

Analytics, calendar, goals, and reminders (Pro)

Gross against take-home, estimated taxes, annual projection, hourly insights, per-position comparison, and projection accuracy - plus a heat-mapped month calendar, a weekly earnings goal, and shift and paycheck reminders.

Projection to paycheck

Stop guessing your pay from your hourly rate.

A shift stays an estimate until a real paycheck says otherwise. Logging one finalizes the shifts it covers and updates a learned take-home rate with a moving average that weights your newest check most. Checks outside a 40% to 95% net-to-gross band are ignored, so a correction or a bonus-heavy week can't skew what the app thinks normal looks like.

A year built from your own shifts

Every number in Analytics comes from what you logged.

Gross against take-home, estimated taxes, overtime share, per-position comparison, how accurate your past projections turned out to be, and what the year is on pace to total. All of it is computed on your phone from your own entries, and none of it needs a connection.

Questions

The things people ask.

Yes. Unlimited shifts, paycheck logging and reconciliation, weekly templates, custom fields, the home dashboard, the log timeline, and CSV import and export are all free, with one position. Pro adds unlimited positions, the Analytics tab, the calendar, weekly goals, and reminders.

$9.99/month or $39.99/year, each opening with a 7-day free trial. Annual works out to about $3.33 a month. The trial is a one-time offer across the whole subscription group, so if you've already used it on one plan you won't get it again on the other.

It starts from a 75% estimate, or a withholding percentage you set, then learns from reality: each paycheck you log updates a learned take-home rate, weighting your newest check most. Implausible checks are ignored so a one-off correction or bonus doesn't skew the average. Take-home and tax figures in Clocked are estimates to help you plan, not tax advice.

No. Clocked is built for flat-rate hourly pay, not tipped income, so there's no tip, sales, or covers tracking. Your hourly wage will be tracked correctly either way, but if you're a tipped worker, our app Checkout is the one for you.

No. You enter your clock-in and clock-out times, which keeps logging fast and works even when you forget to start a timer or had no signal on the floor.

Nothing is deleted. Every shift, paycheck, position, template, and custom field stays exactly where it is, and shift logging, paycheck reconciliation, and CSV export keep working. Analytics and the calendar go back to their locked state, your weekly goal switches off, and your reminder schedules are disabled. Positions you already added stay put - you just can't add another until you resubscribe.

Everything lives in a local database on your iPhone. There's no account, no sign-in, no server, no cloud sync, and no analytics or tracking of any kind - the app contains no third-party SDKs at all. The only way your figures leave the phone is a CSV you export and share yourself. Clocked runs on iPhone with iOS 18.6 or later, in US dollars, and works fully offline apart from buying or restoring Pro.

Clocked is on the App Store.

Clocked turns the shifts you work into a real projection of your pay, then reconciles that projection against the paychecks you actually receive, so the numbers get more accurate every payday.
